Viral Vector Manufacturing Facility Pty Ltd (VVMF), Australia’s only viral vector Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO), today announced its participation in BioJapan 2026, one of Asia’s leading biotechnology partnering events, taking place in Yokohama, Japan, from 7-9 October 2026. The event will provide an opportunity to showcase Australia’s growing capabilities in advanced therapeutics manufacturing and clinical development to biotechnology innovators from across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
Anita van der Meer, Head of Business Development and Partnerships, will represent VVMF as part of the Team Australia exhibition at Stand D-95 in PACIFICO Yokohama. On Day 2 of the conference, Anita will participate in an Australian Clinical Trials Initiative (ACTI) panel discussion examining how Australia’s clinical trial environment can help Asia-Pacific and global biotechnology companies accelerate early-stage drug development through faster timelines, cost efficiencies and a supportive regulatory framework.
